REGISTRATION
MEMO4EU - "MEMORY FOR EUROPE Remembering the Past to interpret the Present and build the Future" - is an European project coordinated by the city of Turin and funded by the European Union through the CERV programme – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values.
BBAG is part of the consortium as the German project partner. 🕊️ The project aims to raise awareness of the historical path that led from the ruins of World War II to the construction of a united Europe — a Europe of peoples, rights, and democracy. It encourages participants to reflect on the past in order to better understand and shape the present and future of Europe.
What’s Included in the Project?
📌 1 Kick-off meeting and 6 engaging training sessions on history, memory, democracy, and European values (Participation in training sessions is mandatory. A maximum of two justified absences are permitted)

📌 A visit to Remembrance venues (Poland & Czech Republic)
15.03.2026 - 22.03.2026: Prague & Cracow, Concentration Camps of Terezin & Auschwitz-Birkenau, Cracow Getto and O. Schindler's Factory
📌 Participation in the creation of Educational toolkits for teachers and schools;
📌 Participation to the development of the "MEMOaroundEU" map of remembrance places in the local area
💰 Participation fee for participants from Germany: 70-100 € (We strive to obtain public funding to minimize the amount of personal contribution required.)
The quota is a contribution to the cost for travel, accommodation and insurance for the days spent visiting the Remembrance venues.
Participants are responsible for their own meals and personal expenses.
Who can participate?
If you are between 18 and 25 years old, have at least a B2 level of English, and live or are officially domiciled in Germany, you can register and participate!
In case of a large number of registrations, priority will be given to those who live in Berlin/Brandenburg.
⚠️ Selected participants must attend at least 70% of the training sessions in person: if not, they will be excluded and replaced by individuals on the waiting list.
How is the selection process carried out?
To participate, simply complete the form and attach a motivation letter in English.
